Learning Outcomes
By the end of the 4 days delegates will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the 15 standards developed by Skills for Health, Health Education England and Skills for Care.
FAQs
With LCE Training, after 4 days you will have completed the course and will be issued with your care certificate.
The Care Certificate is not equivalent to NVQ 2 or to a Level 2 Diploma in Care. The Care Certificate covers 15 standards, with the combination of skills, knowledge and behaviours that are expected for specific job roles in health and social care.
Role of the worker, personal development, duty of care, equality & diversity, person centred values, communication, privacy & dignity, fluids & nutrition, the combination of mental health, dementia and learning disabilities, safeguarding children, basic life support, health & safety, handling information, infection prevention & control.
